OPERATION HOMETOWN OUTREACH (OHO)
When there is a need in the community, our folks work together to meet the need.
Some folks are in need of prayer, food, firewood, clothing, home repairs, and a
variety of other things. Praise God for helping us to show love and compassion to others.

We need your help for Hurricane Victims!
The following list includes items that are needed for the victims of Hurricane Michael.
Please bring your items to the Fellowship Center as soon as possible.
Our first truckload of items will be delivered to South Georgia on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018.
We will continue to collect items for the next delivery.
Thanks for your support! Please pray for those that have been affected by this hurricane.

The following equipment is available on a loan basis.
Hospital beds, walkers, crutches, shower chairs, manual wheelchairs, potty chairs, one lift chair
and a battery operated lift to pick up a person and move from bed to chair and vice versa.
Please contact Kay (403)213-9717 to set a time to meet at the church to pick up items.
Equipment donations are also welcome.
Accommodations have also been built in homes for those needing ramps and other items.
Providence continues to help folks when a need arises in the community.
Highlights in 2017
Samaritan's Purse Boxes - Operation Christmas Child
A group of 21 went to the warehouse to help on Dec. 5, 2017
The first load of 24 boxes plus the extra 11 boxes totaled to 35.
Thanks to Shelbilynn, Kylee and Payton for helping Mrs. Barbara & Mrs. Nancy on Nov. 27.
Proceeds from the Fall BBQ
The Michael Dempsey Memorial Barbecue proceeds were given to:
Southwest Christian Care ($2,500),
Operation Hometown Outreach ($1,245)
Special Needs at Providence ($1,245).
Praise God for His bountiful blessings!
September 11-13, 2017
The Fellowship Center at Providence was used as an emergency shelter
during the severe weather resulting from Hurricane Irma.
Special thanks to all the folks who served during this time.
Monday-Friday - June 5-9, 2017
Folks met at Church daily at 8 a.m. for assignments.
Lunch and snacks were served in the Fellowship Center.
Pat Long, Chairman, & Elaine Bryant, were in charge of mission projects.
51 projects were completed at 29 locations. To God be the glory!
