OPERATION HOMETOWN OUTREACH (OHO)
When there is a need in the community, our folks work together to meet the need.
Some folks are in need of prayer, food, firewood, clothing, home repairs, and a
variety of other things. Praise God for helping us show love and compassion to others.

Our church is collecting laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid for
the distribution at Brickworks to those in need.
MATS FOR THE HOMELESS
Marie Lyle hosted a class for those wishing to help make the mats for
the homeless. The class was held on Thursday, November 14, at 10 a.m..
Everyone in the church is encouraged to save plastic bags for this project.
SAMARITAN'S PURSE BOXES - DUE SUNDAY, NOV. 24th
Ladies are asked to bring completed Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
The first collection time will be Sunday, November 24.
We will also have the opportunity to bring boxes in December.
We will go to Samaritan's Purse warehouse on Tuesday, December 17.
We can take boxes to the warehouse at that time.

RESTORATION ATLANTA - RATL
Folks are encouraged to bring new or gently-used scarves, mittens and gloves.
These items will be used for Christmas gifts to the ladies at RATL.
Also, ladies are encouraged to donate gently-used purses for the ladies.
Mission Project - Women of the Word - October
We are collecting items for an expectant mother and a baby girl, due in
November. Suggested items are baby clothes (new and gently-used), bottles,
diapers, baby wipes, furniture & other items that would help mother & baby.
Children in Action - October Mission Project
The Children are collecting non-perishable items for Community Brickworks' Food Distribution
at City Hall. October is World Hunger Month. There will be a collection box
in the Fellowship Center, and a box in the kitchen upstairs.
The following equipment is available on a loan basis.
Hospital beds, walkers, crutches, shower chairs, manual wheelchairs, potty chairs, one lift chair
and a battery operated lift to pick up a person and move from bed to chair and vice versa.
Please contact Kay (403)213-9717 to set a time to meet at the church to pick up items.
Equipment donations are also welcome.
Accommodations have also been built in homes for those needing ramps and other items.
Providence continues to help folks when a need arises in the community.
HOMETOWN HEROES IN CHATT HILLS
Chris Marks presented certificates to Pat & Kay Long.
Pat and Kay were recognized for their dedication and commitment to helping people in the community. To this day, they continue to faithfully help and minister to others in the community.
