2009 Dempsey Memorial BBQ

Like a kid in a candy shop, this young boy has too many choices at the dessert table. In the background, friends and neighbors enjoy fellowship at the 2009 Dempsey Memorial BBQ on October 10 at Providence Baptist. Below, the youth team make a big splash, at the Carwash.

Providence Church proves Project ABC is easy as 123

Project ABC at Providence Baptist

Members of Providence Baptist Church supported a very special project for the month of August.

After learning that the clinic at Palmetto Elementary has a supply budget of only $100.00 for the entire school year, members immediately launched "Project ABC -- All aBout the Clinic!"

During the month of August, church members collected items to support the clinics many needs and services. Among the items were latex-free band-aids, hand sanitizer, tissues, underwear, socks, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

Church member Melea Brett said, "So many times, the clinic staff meets much greater needs than a simple runny nose or cut finger. We are so happy to have helped make their jobs a little but easier through Project ABC and hope that it will become an August tradition for our church and perhaps our entire city." Chattahoochee Hills resident Kay Long is the clinic manager.
