Providence Baptist Church is on mission in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Each day lives are being touched through the ministries of Providence.  I am grateful to God for the opportunities he gives us to share God's love.  I am thrilled that Providence Baptist has a reputation for ministering God's love. Recently I received a phone call from a person who shared with me that Providence Baptist Church is becoming known as a place where love lives. We must live up to that reputation. 

We take seriously the opportunities God gives us to minister to our people.

In reach is a vital part of our ministry. I love the way our people take care of one another.  You are always there for those of our fellowship. I am inspired as I hear you pray for one another. I am blessed by the way you minister to those in need. I am motivated by the words of encouragement that you speak to one another. 

I am also moved in the depths of by being for the compassion you have for those beyond the walls of our church. Tears of thanksgiving came to my eyes as I listened to the report of our mission team's journey to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. What an experience as we heard how our people helped rebuild houses that were severely damaged by Katrina.  While others are talking about the problems of the world, Providence Baptist is involved in being a solution to those problems. I am blessed to know people who are willing to invest their lives following Jesus Christ on mission to those in need. 

Providence Baptist Church is a missional church. We are a people who not only believe the Gospel, we have the strong conviction that we are called to live the Gospel. 

This is an invitation for those who read these words to visit us. A very meaningful experience of Bible study and worship awaits you at Providence.
