Christmas Greetings

12/16/2013

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

I am blessed beyond words to have the privilege of serving as Pastor of Providence Baptist Church.   Providence is a special place especially during the Christmas season.

The excitement in the lives of our children, the music that truly inspires, the encouraging  words that flow throughout our fellowship, the prayers that come from our fellowship bring blessings that words really can’t describe.

Margaret joins me in sharing the following Christmas greetings with each of you.

First of all, we express gratitude for the love and acceptance you share with us each day.  It is difficult for us to believe that we are in our ninth year of service at Providence.  We feel that the Providence family is more than a church family.  We really feel that we are a part of your lives. Thank you for giving us the blessing of sharing our joys and our sorrows, our pleasures and our pain with you.  Your presence in our lives has brought an assurance that as we minister God’s love we have the encouragement and support of a people on mission for Christ.  It is in a spirit of love and appreciation that we share the following Christmas wish list.

We wish for the children of Providence:
The continued awareness of how special they are.
Opportunities to develop the special gifts God has given them.
A love for God that will grow each day.
An even greater appreciation for the wonderful gift of life.

We wish for the youth of Providence:
An openness to the call of God upon their lives.
A willingness to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
A deep awareness of the inspiration they bring to others.
A growing spirit of gratitude for a church that loves and encourages youth.

We wish for the adults of Providence:
The conviction that Providence is not about us; it’s all about Christ Jesus.
Meaningful and durable relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ.
An openness to sharing the Gospel in our community and throughout the
world.
Blessings that we know have come only from God through Jesus Christ.

Therefore, from the Tyre family to your family, we wish for each of you a Merry Christmas.  May you experience the presence of Christ, the love of family and friends and the joy that only Christ brings.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!
