THANKSGIVING 2012

11/16/2012

THANKSGIVING 2012

I AM THANKFUL FOR
   Another season of Thanksgiving
For the joy that gratitude brings
For a time to reflect upon our blessings
For people willing to share their blessings

I AM THANKFUL FOR
Doctors who combine professionalism with compassion
Friends who take the time to listen
People with a positive attitude toward life
People who can disagree without being disagreeable

I AM THANKFUL FOR
    The smell of burning leaves
    The beauty of a sunrise
    The beauty of a sunset
The sound of rain on a roof

I AM THANKFUL FOR
     The Samaritan Clinic of Coweta
Volunteers who are willing to help others
People who will say “thank you”
Health Care professionals who treat patients as people not numbers

I AM THANKFUL FOR
     The smile of a child
     Words of encouragement
People who believe “the best is yet to be.”
The therapy that comes from the human touch

I AM THANKFUL FOR
     Christians who take Jesus seriously
A good book that brings inspiration and information
Those who are committed to living the Bible rather than debating it
The words, “I am praying for you.”

I AM THANKFUL FOR
A family who loves God and one another
A daughter and grandson who always want the best for each other
A wife who loves to mow the lawn
A wife who embodies in word and deed A CHRISTIAN LADY

I AM THANKFUL FOR
     The gift of faith
     The gift of hope
     The gift of love
The gift of grace and a church that embodies it, “PROVIDENCE BAPTIST
     CHURCH OF RICO.”
