A Place of Grace

9/13/2012

Providence  Baptist Church of Rico, located in Chattahoochee Hills, is a place of grace.  Each of us has a need to belong.  When we think of belonging, we think of acceptance, understanding, affirmation, encouragement and above all, hope.

Providence Baptist Church is a place where you can experience what it really means to belong. The fellowship of Providence communicates to all who come our way, “what happens to you makes a difference to us.”  We  want you to become all you can become in Christ.  Therefore, our magnificent obsession is to magnify Jesus Christ in all that we do.  As Christ walked upon this earth He taught the meaning of grace. He reached out to persons that others refused to touch.  He gave hope to the hopeless. He literally gave His life that others might have a life characterized by forgiveness, joy, love, peace and hope.
Our mission is to walk in His steps.

As Pastor of Providence, I am pleased that you have chosen to visit our Web Site.  I hope you find information that will motivate you to visit us. I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to share with you the many exciting things that are happening at “the place of grace.”  Words are really inadequate to describe what is happening at Providence.  I want you to experience why people from all walks of life are finding Providence to be  a place where they feel they belong.

Each  month I will be sharing an article that I pray you will find helpful.   I look forward to meeting you and  introducing you to a fellowship of believers who will graciously welcome you to our family in Christ.

Blessings,
Gene Tyre, Pastor
The Providence family calls me “Doc”.
