 A Christmas Message

12/10/2012

I love the Christmas season. Providence Baptist Church is a place that makes this season of the year a time of celebrating what God has done for us in the coming of Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to be part of this fellowship and Margaret joins me in assuring you that “we thank God upon each remembrance of you.”

Christmas is a time for us to dream of the world as we would like to see it.  It is a special time of recognizing possibilities because we know God has the power to take things as they are and transform them into what he would have them become.

As Christmas draws near I must share with you my list of Christmas wishes as I pray for a world that loves God and all His children.

My Christmas Wish List:

Hunger will be eliminated from the world.
Peace will reign throughout the world.
People will respect one another.
People can disagree without being disagreeable.
Families will resolve to spend more time together.
The sick will experience healing.
Those in despair will find hope.
The unemployed will find jobs.
Fear will be replaced by faith.
The homeless will find homes.
Orphans throughout the world will be adopted by loving parents.
Conflict caused by partisan politics will give way to cooperation.
Human trafficking will be eliminated from the world.
The lonely will find friends.
Tears of sadness will be replaced by tears of joy.
Each person will come to experience the meaning of Immanuel, “God With Us.”

I want each of you to know that the Tyre family considers the Providence family a vital part of our family.  We love each of you and are blessed to know you. We are blessed each time we are in your presence. We pray that each of you will have a most meaningful Christmas.

WISHING YOU A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS
DOC, MARGARET, JENNY AND MIHAI
